Abstract
Libraries play the
roles of both knowledge accumulator and disseminator. Libraries are the only
source that generally identify, acquire and disseminate the information. But
the exponential growth of periodicals, varied demands of readers, ever
increasing cost of the publications, and the shrinking resources of libraries.
