Abstract
Mesolithic division of The Stone age Culture is comparatively very new for India. Until 1895, the development of man was dividedinto three broad divisions like Stone age, Copper age and Iron age. In the Stone age, Very recently the term ‘Mesolithic’ was introduced by Jacques De Morgan made a difference between the Palaeolithic and Neolithic Culture.
